ENCDF
Who we are
The Eastern NC Dance Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Artistic Director, Kimberly Gray-Saad and is the parent organization of the pre-professional dance company, The Dance Collective. It maintains a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status and is governed by a Board of Directors made up of leaders from the community who rotate off every 3 years.

Mission Statement
The ENCDF promotes dance education, performance and outreach in rural eastern North Carolina.
Giving Back to Our Community
Through outreach programming such as the annual Winter Wonder benefit performance and Power of Dance Outreach at Boys and Girls Clubs, The ENCDF gives back to the community that supports it. The ENCDF relies on corporate sponsors that generously give to ensure programming is funded from year to year.
Empowerment

Students who participate in Power of Dance Outreach at Boys and Girls Clubs of Pitt County* have a unique opportunity to receive year-round tuition scholarships to attend classes at The Official School of The Dance Collective - The Greenville Civic Ballet. Scholarship winners are chosen based on attendance, positivity and ability.
*This project received support from the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge and the North Caorlina Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Cultural Resources, and the National Endownment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
