A large part of the ENCDF's Mission Statement is community service and outreach through dance education and performance.  The foundation's signature outreach has grown from a handful of students in 2000 to a comprehensive series of master classes taught by Dance Collective company members at Boys & Girls Clubs of Pitt County which culimnates with an end-of-session performance and scholarship presentation to several participants.

Power of Dance Outreach was conceptualized by Artistic Director Kimberly Gray-Saad in 2000 and has been an integral part of after school life at Boys and Girls Clubs of Pitt County, North Carolina since 2009. Power of Dance is sponsored annually by Grady-White, The Greater Greenville Community Foundation, Wells-Fargo, and The Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge.

The Dance Collective is the ENCDF's pre-professional dance company based in Greenville, North Carolina.  Company members routinely win acceptance and scholarships to renowned summer and year-round dance institutions including:  University of North Carolina School of the Arts, East Carolina University, Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, Complexions, Harid Conservatory, American Ballet Theatre, The Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, Louisville Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Miami City Ballet, School of American Ballet and Carolina Ballet. Alumnae have danced or are dancing professionally with Ballet Magnificat!, Charlotte Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Carolina Ballet and Radio City Music Hall Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.

As a Company Member, dancers must maintain excellent grades while committing to a rigourous nine-month season.  Company members are high achievers who attend their choice of colleges and universities including East Carolina University, University of North Carolina, Duke University, North Carolina State University and Wake Forest University  - to name a few!
